Since many of our summer plans have been delayed or cancelled, it may seem like you and your family are running out of fun and new ideas to continue the family summer fun. Here are 5 refreshing ways to keep you and your little ones sane during the summer.
ONE.
Camping Indoors
Not only does setting up a tent inside or your backyard relieve the stress of packing up the car, you can still prep campfire friendly meals and eat s'mores around the campfire.

Virtual Museums
If traveling to far away places and going to see amazing artwork was your plan this summer, you're in luck. Many famous museums are giving virtual tours of some of the most renowned exhibits ever. This includes Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC and Lourve Museum in Paris.

Hunter's Creek Trail
Located in Northwest Reno, this is a moderate hike that takes about 2-3 hours to complete. Even though it may seem lengthy, it ends up at a beautiful waterfall; you’ll feel like you’re not in Nevada anymore. Bring plenty of water and sun protection for this one!
Galena Creek Trail
This spectacular and shorter hike begins in the neighborhood of Callan Ranch off of Mt Rose Hwy and makes its way all the way to Galena Forest Estates. The trail is very shady, so it’s perfect for a summer day or evening. It follows the Galena Creek the whole way with multiple bridges. This trail also goes through the golf course community Montreux, so you may even see some golfers out on one of the most beautiful courses in Northern Nevada!
Timberline Trail
