Summer Smoothie Recipes
With summer in full swing, it can be hard to eat healthy when there are so many delicious summer foods! Barbecues, s’mores, and ice cream are all just too delicious! So for a quick diet pick-me-up, here are some delicious and nutritious smoothie recipes to try out!
Babe Ruth Strawberry Pineapple Banana Smoothie:
1 cup Strawberries
1/2 cup Pineapple
1 Banana
2 cups Orange Juice
1/2 cup Greek Yogurt
1 cup Spinach optional
1 Tablespoon Chia or Flaxseeds optional
Ice
Youthful Glow Green Smoothie:
2 Handfuls approximately 2 cups Kale or Power Greens Mix
2 Handfuls approximately 2 cups Baby Spinach
2 cups Pure Apple Juice
1/2 Cucumber
1/2 Lemon squeezed (for extra benefits, use the juice from an entire lemon)
1 Banana
Ice
Optional:
1 teaspoon Fresh Ginger grated
Apple Crisp Smoothie
1 c. apple cider
1/2 c. 2% vanilla greek yogurt
1/4 c. old-fashioned rolled oats
2 tbsp. pecans
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Orange Creamsicle
1 navel orange, peeled
¼ c fat-free half-and-half or fat-free yogurt
2 Tbsp frozen orange juice concentrate
¼ tsp vanilla extract

1 cup frozen cherries
½ cup baby spinach leaves
¼ cup mashed ripe avocado
